Privacy essentials
- Aefos does not run an AI model and does not collect your prompts or code — that content goes straight to the AI CLI you chose, under that provider's policy.
- The only personal data Aefos processes is what is needed to activate/validate a paid license (e.g. email, machine identifier, IP) and, optionally, limited technical diagnostics.
- Chat sessions, history, and the audit log stay locally on your machine

%APPDATA%\Aefos) — you control them and can delete them.

License essentials
- Community is free for personal, educational, and internal business use, with no per-seat fee and no penalty.
- You own everything you create with Aefos.
- The software is provided "AS IS", without warranty — you are responsible for reviewing the changes the AI makes and for keeping backups (see the EULA's Disclaimer, Liability, and Indemnification sections).
