Privacy essentials
- Aefos does not run an AI model and does not collect your prompts or code — that content goes straight to the AI CLI you chose, under that provider's policy.
- Aefos has no licence key and no activation, so it sends nothing to any backend of ours. The only data it may process is limited technical diagnostics.
- Chat sessions, history, and the audit log stay locally on your machine

%APPDATA%\Aefos) — you control them and can delete them.

License essentials
- Everything is free software — personal, educational and commercial use alike, with no key, no tier and no per-seat fee.
- You own everything you create with Aefos.
- The software is provided "AS IS", without warranty — you are responsible for reviewing the changes the AI makes and for keeping backups (GPL v3, sections 15 to 17).
